Health & Safety: Face Coverings

For months, we’ve asked all shoppers to wear a face covering when inside our co-op. We really appreciate that almost all of our shoppers have supported this request. Thank you.

Starting Monday, July 13, we’ll take our policy a step further and require all shoppers to wear a face covering when shopping in our store. Please bring your own re-usable mask. If you forget, we’ll continue to do our best to keep a supply of masks inside our vestibule.

We understand that not everyone can wear a mask. Per CDC guidelines, cloth face coverings should not be worn by:

  • Children younger than 2 years old;
  • Anyone who has trouble breathing;
  • Anyone unable to remove the cloth face covering without assistance.

For those who fall into any of the above categories, we have a limited supply of face shields for those who need one.

For those who do not want to wear a face mask or shield, please use our Curbside Grocery Pick-Up Program as an alternative.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Please reach out to me at any time with questions or concerns.
