Years at our Co-op: Close to 5 years, I started in February 2014

Special Skill / Hidden Talent: I am a whimsical whistler!

Favorite Product: I think Yerba Mate? If not that, the house-made guac.

Favorite Co-op Event: The Staff BBQ and holiday parties are my favorite.

Digger Deeper:

What do you love about our co-op: This sounds very “mom” of me, but we really are all here for each other, like a family. We are basically [the show] Cheers.

What excites you most about the upcoming expansion: The new prepared foods options sound like they will be very cool. Plus, we will have more room for more family!

What’s the most memorable moment at the register?: One year for Christmas, Santa came in and delivered presents and flowers to me.

The Fun Stuff:

Which animal would make the best president if the animal kingdom ever rises up and takes over? Elephant! They are powerful and incredibly intelligent…they seem smart enough to keep their trunks shut. 

What do you like to do on your days off? I get to hang out with my son, Oliver, all the time! Anything I can do to make him happy makes me happy.

Is a Hotdog a sandwich why or why not? What makes a sandwich? Is it the cut of the bread? If I cut the hotdog bun down the middle and make two pieces of bread, is that then a sandwich? What if I have a piece of bread with peanut butter and fold it over, is it then a sandwich? Is it that two pieces of bread make anything a sandwich? I believe a sandwich is anything between bread.

Fun Fact: I’m terrified of butterflies, I will cry if I see one. I was traumatized during a school trip to a butterfly-dome I was surrounded by thousands of them and I was certain they would hurt me! They just looked so innocent…they had to be evil. Moths are cool though.
