Congratulations to Mac Weldon – the latest employee to receive the Monadnock Food Co-op’s “Beet Award.”

When you think of excellent customer service, Mac quickly comes to mind. He’s always willing to jump in and contribute to the co-op in any way possible — whether it’s staying late, coming in early, taking on an extra shift, an extra hour, or even an extra day!

Mac has worked at the co-op for over two years and built up a large customer base that knows he can quickly locate the product they need, from packaged grocery to dairy, frozen, produce, bulk — it doesn’t matter where in the store, he knows where to find so many of our products.

Also, under Mac’s leadership and coaching we finally beat Badger during this year’s annual softball game. Thank you, Mac!

The “Beet Award” is a quarterly award given to a Co-op staff member who most embodies the spirit of a great co-operator. They display a friendly attitude, help others out without hesitation and are incredible ambassadors of our Co-op.
