The Keene Sentinel, celebrating its 225th anniversary, is pleased to host a FREE day-long celebration with the community, including a fun, open, and engaging day of events and activities.
Since 1799, The Keene Sentinel has served the Greater Monadnock Region through journalism as a community service.
The Sentinel always strives to engage, inform, and empower its readers with the news and information they need to improve their own lives and the lives of those in the community. The Sentinel has always been driven by mission and community.
In this 225th anniversary year we seek to celebrate that community. We will host a day-long celebration in downtown Keene including a fun, open and engaging day focused on what it means to be New Hampshire.
Planned activities include:

-Downtown Sidewalk Sale
-Live music throughout the day from two stages
-Special restaurant events
-Special bar and brewery events
-Food trucks
-Antique and classic car & truck show
-A community history series at the Keene Public Library
-Art Fair
-Celebrity softball game (at Alumni Field)
-Fireworks display (at Alumni Field)
