Throughout the month of August, the Monadnock Food Co-op celebrates New Hampshire Eats Local Month by offering a variety of farm and local food events.
2020 NH Eat Local Month Events in the Monadnock Region
As part of the NH Eat Local Month festivities, the co-op will:
- Co-host a free virtual community screening of the film 2040 on August 18, starting at 6:30 p.m. with a Q & A session to follow. This film shows what the future could look like by the year 2040 if individuals embraced the existing solutions to improve the planet like regenerative agriculture, composting, and other sustainability practices.
- Co-host a free virtual community screening of the short film Local Rooted on August 27, stating at 6:30 p.m. with a Q & A with the local filmmaker, Greg Pregent, and local farmers to follow. This film highlights the Monadnock Food Co-op Farm Fund and grant awardees, including Archway Farm, Manning Hill Farm, and Tracie’s Community Farm.
- Run a Round It Up donation drive for Monadnock Farm & Community Coalition.
