Everyone Welcome! You may have noticed our new flag displayed at our South entrance. As we move through June, it serves as a poignant reminder to reflect upon our mission and join hands with diverse communities in joyously celebrating Pride Month.
We join in the celebration of Pride and the profound messages and themes it embodies. We take great joy in honoring the acceptance, equality, and visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer individuals within our Co-op and across all communities. This celebration upholds the fundamental principle that every person, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, deserves equal treatment and support in an environment that fosters self-acceptance and promotes visibility. We wholeheartedly affirm that everyone should have the freedom to live openly and proudly, embracing their authentic selves.
Our commitment to Everyone is Welcome demonstrates our steadfast devotion to ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for every member of our community. The Monadnock Food Co-op was established to fulfill the following essential needs of our community by:
- Providing an accessible downtown food market striving to create a conveniently located food market that is easily accessible to all community members. We aim to ensure that everyone has access to fresh, wholesome food options.
- Fostering a marketplace that embraces and unites the community: We aspire to create a vibrant marketplace where community members can connect, connect, and engage with one another. We believe that fostering a sense of belonging and connection is vital for the well-being of our community.
- Promoting a healthy and sustainable food system: We are committed to promoting and supporting a food system that prioritizes the health and well-being of individuals and the environment. We aim to empower our community to make conscious and informed choices by offering a wide range of sustainable and ethically sourced products.
