What an amazing experience it has been to walk into our co-op around the holidays! The store has been very busy and crowded. Many of us spend more time there than we’d planned on, as we greet friends and neighbors, talk to the hard working staff about ingredients or recipes for the meals we’re preparing and round-up our sales total for The Community Kitchen as we check out. Thanks to all for the hard work you’ve put in to make this a joyous and successful holiday season at the Monadnock Food Co-op.
The coming year will be a busy year for your co-op board. You’ll be able to meet us at tabling events in the store this winter and spring. Board members will again be sharing soup and information at the popular co-op SOUPer Bowl event on Sunday, January 29th. You’ll soon be hearing more from your board, as well as the General Manager and Finance Manager, about the patronage refunds that will be paid out in February of 2017. As soon as the successful and fun 2016 Annual Meeting ended, we started planning the Annual Meeting for 2017. And, as always, we will be spending time working with our General Manager on maintaining our co-op’s success, telling our story and planning for the growth of the business over the next 5-10 years.
Thanks to all for the continued support you give in so many ways which has contributed to the Monadnock Food Co-op’s success over the past 3 ½ years.
