Congratulations to the 2015 Monadnock Food Co-op Co-operator of the Year: Kevin Barth

We announced this year’s Monadnock Food Co-op Co-operator of the Year at our Annual Meeting on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Congrats Kevin!

Kevin is the Receiver at the Monadnock Food Co-op and he goes above and beyond in his role every single day. He smiles and greets every employee, customer and delivery driver he encounters. He is constantly striving to take on new roles within the Co-op and jumps at opportunities for education and involvement, including serving on several committees within the store. Outside the Co-op, Kevin is a dedicated father and community member who values living a healthy lifestyle and spending time outdoors.

The Monadnock Food Co-op Co-operator of the Year Award is given each year to a Member-Owner, staff member or community partner (ex. farmer, organization, business) who exemplifies co-operative values. Those values are self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity, solidarity, honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others.
