As 2023 comes to a close, I want to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing Board President, Carolyn Crane, who has done an amazing job leading the Co-op Board of Directors for six years. Her legacy includes stewarding the board alongside general manager Michael Faber, his staff, and you, our Member-Owners, through an incredibly successful expansion and the unprecedented uncertainty caused by the pandemic. Despite any challenges, her upbeat, can-do attitude was infectious, making it a pleasure to attend board meetings, and her deep depth of knowledge around board work ensured we continued to best represent Member-Owners by adhering to our Co-op’s Ends, Bylaws, and mission while planning for the future. As your new Board President, I have big shoes to fill and will do my utmost to lead by the example that Carolyn has set these many years, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside her in her new role as Vice-President of the Board.Β On behalf of the board, we are grateful for the trust that you, our Member-Owners, put in us every day to ensure our beautiful Co-op continues to thrive and succeed in the new year and beyond.
