Last Friday we celebrated 10 Years of Community Impact at the 13th Annual Meeting of our Cooperative. We enjoyed hors d’oeuvres prepared by our Prepared Food team, beer, wine and cider, Frisky Cow Gelato, and Saxy Chef brownies at Stonewall Farm in Keene.

Carolyn Crane, Board President welcomed everyone, which was followed by an in-depth report from Michael Faber, General Manager, and David Sayles, Board Treasurer, on how our Co-op performed in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.

We reviewed our Co-op’s Ends Statements and talked about the future of the Co-op. Jenny & Bruce Wooster of Picadilly Farm were awarded the Cooperator of the Year award. This award recognizes individuals who demonstrate lasting commitment to cooperative principles. The Woosters have been a major supplier of our Co-op since the very beginning and are now our #1 producer in the store!

We were joined by four farms or organizations who have been directly impacted by our Co-op’s Farm Fund or donation programs: Sarah Costa from Manning Hill Farm in Winchester, Mark Florenz from Archway Farm in Keene, Jess Gerrior from The Cornucopia Project in Peterborough, and Roe-Ann Tasoulas from Monadnock Farm and Community Coalition.

Congratulations to our newly elected board members: Carrie Bergeron, Trish Campbell, and Susan Lefferts.
