Swing by the Co-op to chat with June’s Round It Up partner, Cheshire County Conservation District, to learn more about the Cheshire Kids Farm Camp Scholarship!

Round It Up donations will support the Cheshire Kids Farm Camp Scholarship, a program from Cheshire County Conservation District in partnership with Keene Housing Kids Collaborative. This scholarship offers an average of 20 local children financial assistance to attend a week at farm summer camp. A few of the camps include Stonewall Farm, Orchard Hill, and Kroka. These camps connect young people with agriculture and the natural world around them. They hope to inspire the next generation of local farmers and local food supporters by giving children an opportunity to attend a farm camp. They are given the opportunity to experience sustainable farming practices first-hand with hopes they will carry the knowledge gained from this memorable experience into adulthood.
