Six Ways to Live Free + Eat Local This August!

NH Harvest of the Month: Peaches, Corn, Leafy Greens

Overwhelmed by the bounty at your local market? Focus in on the local food featured in August for the NH Harvest of the Month program— peaches, leafy greens, and corn! Buy all three locally grown at a farmers’ market, farm stand, grocery, or co-op.

Each month, the NH Harvest of the Month program celebrates seasonal eating, healthy diets, and supporting our local economies through the educational tools part. Join us in celebrating those items, in addition to the Indigenous foodways of Niben (Summer). Explore the August NH Harvest of the Month materials here and the Indigenous Harvest for Niben (Summer) here on the NH Farm to School program’s website.
