We raised $4,700.91 during our month-long Round It Up Donation Drive to benefit our Membership For All Program in November 2021. This program makes Member-Ownership in the Monadnock Food Co-op more affordable for qualifying participants. This program helps reduce financial barriers for those wishing to become Co-op Member-Owners.
Since its beginnings, the Monadnock Co-op worked to be an accessible, community-owned, downtown food market. The Membership for All program reflects this cooperative legacy, ensuring that Member-Ownership is accessible to everyone.
“Our Co-op is more than a grocery store,” said Michael Faber, Monadnock Food Co-op General Manager. “It’s owned by our Member-Owners, over 3,000 people who use our business to meet their shared needs and aspirations such as access to healthy food, building a stronger local economy, and providing good jobs. We want to ensure Member-Ownership is within reach for all community members.”
The Co-op’s Round It Up program empowers shoppers to make positive changes in their community by donating their change to local community organizations and causes.
