The Monadnock Food Co-op will launch a month-long Round It Up Donation Drive to benefit Monadnock Farm & Community Coalition (MFCC) on March 1, 2023. The Co-op’s Round It Up donation program empowers shoppers to make positive impacts in their community by rounding up their change to support local nonprofits.

MFCC will use these donations for their Locals’ Local Fund, which supports local producers who sell fresh, local food at a negotiated price to The Community Kitchen’s Monadnock Mobile Food Pantry. The Monadnock Mobile Food Pantry is committed to strengthening an equitable and ecologically sound local food system in collaboration with local farmers, food hubs, and food advocacy organizations.

“I would say most farmers feel that access to healthy food is a basic human right,” said Roe-Ann Tasoulas, MFCC Director. “We are very honored to be a part of the team helping to bring that vision to light. It is a huge win-win for our community and Monadnock farmers.”
