The Republic of Tea—Watermelon Mint Iced Tea

This is the most wonderful summer tea! It captures the natural, fresh sweetness of sun-ripened watermelon with just enough mint to be refreshing without being overpowering. Just delicious! We followed these directions: Place one pouch with 2 cups of boiling water in a heat-safe pitcher. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove pouch then stir in one cup of cold water and one cup of ice cubes until ice melts. Serve over more ice in tall glasses. Sit in a sunny spot with a friend and enjoy!

Cool Haus Ice Cream—Street Cart Churro Dough

From a women-owned company in LA comes ice cream with crazy delicious flavors. Milk Shake & Fries, anyone?? You have to try them to believe how amazingly good these combinations are. Each artisanal pint is filled with the best ingredients—locally sourced California milk, cage-free eggs, organic sugar, etc. Our favorite flavor at the moment is Street Cart Churro Dough which is brown butter ice cream combined with cinnamon sugar churro dough and chocolate chip swirl. We will try to leave some in the freezer case for you 🙂
