It’s that time of year again when we start thinking about the sustainability of our Board of Directors. Perhaps you would be interested in running for a position on our Board?

We look for people who:

• Are able to effectively and reasonably hold management accountable
• Have a temperament that is deliberative, decisive and thoughtful.
• Possess collaborative skills/capacity.
• Are committed to our work in increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Have a range of different relationships, experiences, and perspectives.
• Are comfortable with learning that may challenge one’s current perspectives.
• Have financial aptitude and interest.
• And most importantly, are passionate about our Co-op and the work we do!

In order to run for the Board, you will be asked to complete an application and attend a Board meeting. A Board term lasts for three years and one may serve a total of three terms. The deadline for application is June 20th.
