BETTER WITH BUCKWHEAT Crackers

The Maine Crisps folks have introduced a new cracker!

Made with naturally gluten-free, Maine-sourced, nutritious buckwheat flour just like the crisps but with a more cracker-y shape and texture. Each of the 3 flavors—Sea Salt, Rosemary & Herbs, and Everything—are delicious to snack on, use for dips, or add to any cheese board. Find them near our cheese case, and let us know what you think!

TRENCHERS FARM Fresh Pasta

Husband and wife team, Giacomo and Jenny Vascotto, from Lyndonville, Vermont, are creating amazing fresh pasta made with nutrient-rich, delicious, deep orange eggs from their flock of pasture-raised hens and a signature blends of Vermont-grown wheat. Giacomo says, ” If our pasta could talk, it would have a thick Italian accent and be fluent in Vermont agriculture.”

You’ll find Rigatoni, Pappardelle, and Gluten-Free Linguine in our freezer case right now! And we just learned they’ve just been named finalists in the 2024 Good Food Awards, which will formally be announced at the end of April. Congratulations, Trenchers Farm!

HARVEST MAINE Broccomolé

Clever and delicious! Love the fun name and really love that Harvest Maine supports their local Maine farmers by buying the “whole harvest” from them, which includes all the oddly shaped and blemished veggies. Sourcing this way reduces food waste and puts a little extra money into the farmer’s pockets. This vegan, gluten-free broccoli dip also contains cauliflower, white beans, onion, and jalapeno, along with other herbs and spices, giving it the perfect amount of kick. Dip and enjoy!
