Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, for our kickoff to international Pride Month!

Based on a true story, Jamie is a 16-year-old who doesn’t quite fit in…he dreams of becoming a drag queen. He is supported by his loving mother and his best friend, Pritti, who reassures Jamie that his difference is what makes him beautiful. Jamie contends with an unsupportive father, an uninspired careers advisor and bullying by school kids who attempt to rain on his sensational parade. This feel-good musical will have you dancing in the aisles and celebrating as you step out of the darkness and into the spotlight! The film delivers a simple message – be more accepting of yourself and others!

“There’s abundant joy, spirited resilience and sweet humor on tap that should be especially infectious for young LGBTQ audiences, or anyone with experience of outsider stigmatization.” – David Rooney, The Hollywood Reporter

“…a spirited musical that aims to make you smile, and its simplicity may make it a more accessible tale for those beginning to understand who they are, or for families who wish to understand.” – Victoria Luxford, City AM

“…Everybody’s Talking About Jamie remains an infectiously enjoyable musical with an uplifting message.” – Rotten Tomatoes

Rated PG-13 – 2021 Musical/Comedy/Drama – 1 hr 55 min
