Get ready for an unforgettable day of fun, food, and festivities as Stonewall Farm proudly celebrates its 30th Anniversary on August 17th, 2024! This milestone event promises an extraordinary celebration packed with exciting activities, honoring three decades of sustainable farming, community engagement, and educational programs.
Back to Our Roots Farm Festival will open its gates at 12:30 PM with exciting games, demonstrations, live bands, food, artisans and farmers market, contra dancing, and a beer garden with Stein hoisting contests (childcare available) running until 6:00 PM (last call 5:30 PM).
Event Highlights:
Traditional Farming Demonstrations:
Morse Brook Farm’s Border Collies: Watch incredible sheep herding with border collies. 12:30, 2:30, 4:30 (approx 40 mins each, front pasture)
Douglas Finke: Marvel at masterful woodworking demonstrations. (throughout the day)
Gary Kalajian: Witness the artistry of blacksmithing (throughout the day)
Rosa Moon Farm: Alpaca Fleece Spinning and Knitting (throughout the day)
Monadnock Beekeepers Association: Experience beekeeper hive visits and learn about the fascinating world of bees. 1:00, 2:00, 3:00
Stonewall Farm: Regenerative Farming Tours of our Chicken Tractor and Garden Market (throughout the day) (approx. 30 mins each)
Stonewall Farm: Haying demonstrations in the front pastures (Throughout the day, Weather Permitting)
Exciting Music/Performance:
Contra Dancing with Monadnock Folklore Society: Get your feet moving with live music and traditional contra dancing. 1:00 – 4:00 pm (lessons and dance on 2nd Floor)
Rachel Berlin: Enjoy the soulful tunes of this talented singer/songwriter. 1:30 PM (main stage)
Qvickdraw: Rock out with this dynamic indie rock band. 2:30 PM (main stage)
Regals: Groove to the beats of country western music. 3:30 PM (main stage)
Book Reading: with Author Jeanette Leclaire (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, 30 min. reads, back to back – 1st floor)
Cheshire Floral Farms: Garden talks – Drought Tolerant Perennials (1:00), Late Season Perennials (2:00), Handy Hibiscus, how they differ from others (3:00), Shade Tolerant Perennials (4:00), Winterizing Your Perennial Gardens (5:00)

Little Zoe’s Pizza: Enjoy mouth-watering, freshly baked pizza.
Mama McDonough’s: Indulge in hearty and delicious comfort food.
Tito’s Taqueria: Savor the flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine.

21+ Enjoy a refreshing selection of craft beers from local breweries in our lively beer garden, where you can sip and savor the best brews the region has to offer and test your strength in one of our Stein hoisting contests! Our featured breweries include Liquid Therapy, West L.A., Branch & Blade, Kettlehead Brewing, Granite Roots, and Bellavance will be providing a German Oktoberfest Booth, Local Craft Oktoberfest Booth, Cider and Pumpkin Brews Booth

Indulge in scrumptious cupcakes and baked goods, discover stunning photography, and admire exquisite pottery. Explore beautiful crystals, savor the sweetness of NH maple products, and find the perfect piece of handmade jewelry. Marvel at masterful woodworking and so much more. With new vendors signing up daily, there’s always something fresh and exciting to see.
Ticket Prices:
$10 General Admission ($5/kids 12 and under and kids under 3 Free): Includes access to live bands, livestock, and industrial demonstrations, beehive and garden tours, contra dancing, lawn games & more!
$35 Beer Garden Admission: Includes general admission plus beer garden access with free pours (must be 21+)
In-Event Purchases: Food & drinks, horse-drawn wagon rides with Iron Kettle Farm, vendor & farmers markets, and exciting raffle prizes including a Stonewall Farm CSA share for 2025.
