COVID-19 Update: December 12, 2020

In the Monadnock Region, there is widespread community presence of the virus. These are indeed trying times but we know that by working together we can safely make it through this.

We understand that not all businesses openly share COVID-19 case information, but we want to be as transparent as we can through this process.

Our co-op had a fourth confirmed case of COVID-19 on Saturday, December 12, 2020. This staff member is part of our grocery department; the previous cases were in the Front End and Prepared Foods earlier that same week. There were no close contacts* identified with this fourth case.

At this point in time, additional staff testing connected to this case and the earlier cases have come back negative.  We continue to work with the Department of Health and Human Services to employ the best practices in addressing the cases identified to stop the spread of the virus.

Since the start of the pandemic, we have vigorously followed safety protocols to ensure our co-op is as safe as possible.  We continue this commitment today.

We have been in touch with staff members with confirmed cases and made sure they were recovering well. We look forward to their return.

Thank you for your words of support for Monadnock Food Co-op. Providing healthy food for our community is important work.

* Close contact exposure is defined as being within approximately 6 feet of a person with COVID-19 for more than 10 minutes.
