The Monadnock Food Co-op (MFC) facilitates Round It Up donation drives, providing customers the opportunity to round their purchases up to the nearest dollar and donate the change. Thanks to our incredible shoppers, these donations accumulate into a substantial donation for the selected non-profit. Organizations must be tax-exempt, in good standing, serve the Monadnock Region community, and remain non-political and non-religious. The goal of MFC’s Round It Up donation drive is to raise funds for initiatives in the Monadnock Region that work in partnership with our community to extend our Co-op’s work and meet our Ends Policies.

How does it work?

Monadnock Food Co-op collects all donations during the month, remitting 100% of the funds to the selected organization at the end of the drive. This service is provided at no cost. Selected non-profits typically raise between $3,000 – $5,000 during the month-long campaign. A check for the total amount will be mailed within three weeks of the drive’s conclusion.

Application requirements:

To extend the reach of the program’s impact, new terms have been adopted; organizations that have received program benefits for the last two years are asked to take a one year hiatus. If you received funding in 2024 and 2025, you are eligible to reapply in 2027.

    • Organizations must be a tax-exempt non-profit, support community members in the Monadnock Region, and have no political or religious affiliations.
    • Round It Up Donation Drive Applications must be received by January 1, 2026.
    • All Round It Up recipients are required to complete a short final report to be eligible for future drives.
