Please join us at The Community Kitchen, 37 Mechanic Street in Keene, for a special Juneteenth celebration during our usual community dinner service from 5:00 to 6:20 pm. As we commemorate the emancipation of the last enslaved African-Americans on June 19, 1865, we invite all members of the community to come together and share in this free dinner. Let’s celebrate freedom, reflect on our history, and enjoy delicious food in a welcoming atmosphere. Chef Anthony is planning a special menu for the occasion.
