Join the Monadnock Farm and Community Coalition’s Food System Work Group at Modestman Brewing in Keene at 6pm on Monday, January 29th for a conversation on increasing economic sustainability for farmers. The goal for the event will be to discuss how to increase the avenues for producers to sell goods locally, as well as to explore other potential income streams, such as agrotourism or hosting events.
This conversation will help to inform Southwest Region Planning Commission’s Regional Food System Assessment, the recommendations made to the City of Keene’s master plan update by the Energy and Climate Committee, and help facilitate greater regional collaboration. Pizza is on us, beer and other beverages will be available for purchase, and there will be ample time for socializing and networking.
