The Monadnock Region celebrated Food Day the week leading up to October 24, 2015 with a diversity of events organized by the Monadnock Food Co-op — from a Food Day Pitchfest to a Food Day Fair. Thank you to all the wonderful local organizations, food producers and individuals for participating — and for all the work you do every day to strengthen our local and regional food systems.
Americans from all 50 states celebrated the fifth annual Food Day at thousands of events, building a movement to change the American food system — one that promotes healthier diets, supports sustainable farms, ends hunger, reforms factory farms and supports fair working conditions for food and farm workers.
