Take a Hike and Cooking Up History

This March, Monadnock Food Co-op will join with other food co-ops nationwide to promote land conservation, active lifestyles, and heritage foods.

First, we’re running a month-long Round It Up Drive to benefit the Monadnock Conservancy.  The conservancy recently celebrated an impressive milestone — protecting a total of 20,000 acres in our region.  Stop by the co-op on March 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to learn more about their work.  They’ll also share which conserved areas are also open to hiking.

In partnership with Stonewall Farm and the Heritage Commission of Keene a celebration of heritage foods, called Cooking Up History, will take place on March 30 at Stonewall Farm.  Learn about cheese making, regenerative farming, and heritage cooking.  Also enjoy food tastings of historic recipes, exhibitors, and children’s activities.

From February 13 – April 2, stop into the Monadnock Food Co-op and enter our FREE Take a Hike Raffle.
