Favorite Co-op Product: Bulk coffee! I love the options that we carry—I can choose which bean I want and grind it to my preference. Plus, the smell of fresh ground coffee cannot be topped.

What’s your culinary background? At age 16, I applied as a dishwasher/prep cook at the Hancock Inn. I was hired on the spot and the fun hasn’t stopped—I’ve worked as a line chef, a small-town baker, a corporate kitchen chef, and ran a local ice cream shop (one of the favorites!) until I landed at this fantastic co-op.

What do you love about our co-op? The people! This includes all co-workers—both past and present—and all of the customers. The co-op truly attracts outstanding people and I’m so pleased to be a part of it.

Your favorite co-op event? Our annual meeting. As a member of the prepared foods department, you will always find me working/attending this event. It is truly amazing to hear the gratitude of our customers, see them excited about our growth, and see the connection the co-op has with the community.

The Fun Stuff

Soup or sandwich? Oh no, this one is so hard. Obviously, ½ and ½ is the best of both worlds, but if I must choose, I’m picking sandwich!

Favorite comfort food? Lasagna. There is something so comforting about a fresh-baked lasagna (and the leftovers are usually better). Pair with a nice glass of red wine and homemade garlic bread…yum.

What animal would you like to be? A Capybara. We get along with everyone!!

What do you do to relax? I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking, and of course, spending as much time as I can with my dog, Wyatt. And my latest passion is baking bread at home. I’ve been perfecting my recipe and make at least 2-4 loaves a week!
