The Monadnock Food Co-op will launch a month-long Round It Up Donation Drive to benefit the Cornucopia Project on June 1, 2019. The money raised will help the Cornucopia Project run their Farm to Fork program. This program hires and trains high school Fellows to develop and manage a small year-round agricultural operation and associated business plan.
“Cornucopia couldn’t be more excited to have been chosen by the Monadnock Food Co-op this month,” said Karen Hatcher, Executive Director. “What a great opportunity to reach an expanded audience of healthy food enthusiasts who understand the value of connecting children to real food early in life and throughout their schooling. We appreciate the support of the community and know that this partnership with the Co-op will help us in our mission to plant seeds for a lifetime of healthy eating.”
The Cornucopia Project’s mission is to empower the community to make healthy food choices by creating and delivering interactive experiential educational programs and teaching models, adapted to a variety of learning spaces, from gardens to classrooms to kitchens.
