Round it Up for MCVP: Crisis and Prevention Center

We are launching a month-long Round It Up Donation Drive to benefit the MCVP: Crisis and Prevention Center (MCVP) throughout June. MCVP aims to respond to domestic and sexual violence and stalking in our community by providing a care and support system for survivors.

The money you donate through our co-op will help MCVP increase the number of prevention programs delivered throughout the Monadnock Region, including emergency shelter and safe housing, 24-hour crisis hotline, and a number of educational workshops. MCVP provides these services to over 800 survivors of domestic and sexual violence and stalking and delivers educational programming to nearly 1,300 students annually.

“MCVP believes that individual, organization and community health are interrelated and that violence and exposure to trauma negatively impact health and well-being,” said Shanna Beckwith, Assistant Director. “We’re excited to partner with the Co-op to bring more attention to and support local intervention and prevention.”
