Purchase & Sale Agreement Signed

We have exciting news to share! We recently signed a Purchase and Sale Agreement with Monadnock Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) to purchase our existing building as well as an adjacent site to facilitate the expansion of our store.

As background, since our store opened in 2013, we have been leasing our building from MEDC. MEDC originally secured our current site, assembled the funding, and constructed our building as part of the redevelopment of the former Railroad Land in downtown Keene.

Signing this agreement is an important step for us to become full owners of our building — securing our long-term commitment to downtown Keene while providing fresh, local, and healthy food for the residents of the Monadnock region. Now that we have completed this critical step, we will work over the next few months to finalize our financing structure to close on the purchase and begin the construction of our addition.
