Monadnock Food Co-op Seeks Local Farmers & Food Producers Interested in Selling Wholesale

Attention Farmers and Food Producers from the Monadnock Region and Adjacent Communities:

All farmers and local food producers interested in selling their products to the Monadnock Food Co-op (MFC) in Keene are encouraged to contact General Manager Michael Faber before the end of this year.

An important role for the Co-op, as with other food cooperatives, is to support our local food system.  Once we open, we aim to provide high quality, locally grown and produced products to shoppers while forging stronger connections between consumers and local producers.  A stronger food system makes for a more resilient community and local economy.

MFC expects to provide the greatest selection of locally-produced products in the region.  Our goal is for one-third of all our products sold to originate from you – local farmers and value-added producers. Conventional grocery stores, by comparison, source an average of 6% of their products sold from local producers.

Interested farmers and producers can contact Michael Faber at 603-355-8008 or
