Co-op Shoppers Donate Over $6,500 to the Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention

Last month, Monadnock Food Co-op shoppers collectively donated $6,502.74 to the Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention (MCVP) based in Keene. We collected these donations during our month-long “Round It Up” donation drive in June. We thank you all for rounding up your purchases to donate your change to MCVP.

The Co-op’s Round It Up program empowers shoppers to make positive change in their community by donating their change. During the Co-op’s last fiscal year, the Round It Up program raised $31,170.96 and supported eight nonprofits.

“MCVP continues to be in awe of the generosity of this community,” said Shanna Beckwith, MCVP Assistant Director. “Thank you to the Co-op and all of its patrons for this incredible donation which will be used to support direct victim services and education programs throughout the Monadnock region.”
