SUMMARY:Concert Choir at KSC - Benefitting Hundred Nights!
DESCRIPTION:The Concert Choir is a non-auditioned mixed voice ensemble comprising students enrolled in over 15 disciplines across the College. They routinely participate in recruitment tours and choral exchanges with high school choirs. In March Concert Choir and Chamber Singers performed at the New Hampshire State House as part of the New Hampshire Music Educators Hill Day to celebrate Music in Our Schools Month. \nThe Chamber Singers is an auditioned treble voice ensemble. This year\, we toured to Montréal and recently participated in the Alice Parker Festival at Mount Holyoke College. \nSuggested donation of $10 at the door. All proceeds will go directly to Hundred Nights incoporated\, a year round emergency shelter and resource center in Keene. The 17th edition of The Thing\, a diy mainstay of the Monadnock community!\nIt’s the 17th Thing in the Spring! Join us at Nova Arts & the Colonial Theatre in Keene NH to see three days of inspired curation in action. This ticket will get you into all of the performances at Nova as well as Stephen Malkmus w/ Mirah happening at the Colonial! This year will feature performances by: Stephen Malkmus / Speedy Ortiz / Califone / Mirah / Josh Johnson / Amirtha Kidambi’s Elder Ones / Joan Shelley / the Argus Quartet / Thirdface / Sunburned Hand of the Man / Roger Clark Miller: Solo Electric Guitar Ensemble / Maria Somerville / Undertow Brass Band / Wake in Fright / Sam Moss / Rong / Aisha Burns / Minibeast / Dakou Dakou / Cozy Throne / Sailor Down / Maryse Smith / Derek Sensale / and more events tba!
