SUMMARY:Writing Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs
DESCRIPTION:This supportive workshop series is for every woman entrepreneur looking to find her writing voice\, improve her writing skills\, and grow her confidence as a writer and communicator. Over five 1.5-hour sessions\, we’ll use proven techniques to build your writing ability and self-belief. You’ll learn how to relax when you write and bring your most important messages into powerful words. You’ll come away with the power and stamina to write what you need for your business and your creativity. Each session will include a welcome\, a short meditation\, a prompt\, writing time\, and time to read aloud for positive feedback and craft lessons. Prompts will focus on writing for business needs. \nThis workshop series is comprised of five classes on Wednesdays\, March 12th\, 19th\, 26th\, and April 2nd and 9th. One ticket at $187.50 covers all five classes. \nAbout the Instructor: Becky Karush is a writer and writing coach who has led more than 400+ writing workshops. She graduated from Wesleyan University (B.A.) and Emerson College (M.A.). She’s worked as a teacher\, farmer\, journalist\, Disney magazine editor\, and copywriter. Becky is the founder of Read to Me Literary Arts\, where writers learn to dazzle with fresh\, brilliant writing. Through group writing salons\, individual coaching\, the Read to Me podcast\, and tools to support your solo writing practice\, Becky helps you surface and develop your innate talent. She lives in southwestern New Hampshire with her family and cat. She is working on a novel.

SUMMARY:Kimaya Diggs - Live at Birdies
DESCRIPTION:Kimaya Diggs is an emerging artist and songwriter from Western Massachusetts. Her new album “Quincy” explores Diggs’ unique style of Soul\, Folk\, and R&B. Diggs was nominated in the “Best New Artist” and “Album of the Year” categories at the 2023 New England Music Awards and was recently honored as one of 10 artists of color making a difference in the Boston area by WBUR. She has opened for the likes of Trombone Shorty\, Lizzie No\, Tank and The Bangas\, and has toured with Heather Maloney. The Boston Globe calls her “Expressive\, smooth vocals…she’s kind of an unstoppable force.”
