Trees & Tracks at Beech Hill
February 22 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Join Jeremy Wilson and Susie Spikol to explore the highlands of Dublin from the beautiful Beech Hill trail network. Along the way, we’ll discuss the natural history of trees in winter and search for tracks, scat, and other evidence of our wild neighbors. This 1 to 1.5-mile roundtrip hike will include uphills and uneven terrain. Dress for the weather, and come prepared for winter conditions with spikes or snowshoes.
1 to 2:30 p.m. at Beech Hill in Dublin. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Space is limited, and registration is required.
For general information about Harris Center field trips, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, including questions about accessibility, or to borrow snowshoes or spikes, contact Susie.
Co-sponsored by the Harris Center for Conservation Education, the Dub Hub, and the Beech Hill-Dublin Lake Watershed Association.
