Local Listening Session: 2024 NRCS Funding Priorities

August 12, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

ABOUT:

The local USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) office, in collaboration with Cheshire and Sullivan County Conservation Districts, will be hosting a listening session to guide NRCS federal funding priorities for 2024.

This space offers the opportunity to provide input for local management priorities and to inform funding distribution for federal fiscal year 2024. NRCS funding is allocated to a variety of land uses, including cropland, farmsteads, forestland and more. Local farmers, growers and land managers are encouraged to apply and have their voices heard.

This event is free and open to the public. A light lunch will be provided. The event will take place in-person, and advanced registration is required. Please email Amanda at [email protected] to confirm attendance.

This event is a partnership between NH Natural Resources Conservation Service, Sullivan County Conservation District and Cheshire County Conservation District.
