Introduction to Bird Language Series with Kevin Bose

May 6, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

RSVP HERE!

Enjoy a free outdoor workshop series called “Introduction to Bird Language” with teacher Kevin Bose on May 6 from 9 am – 12 pm and May 13 from 10 am – 12 pm!

Learn tips to increase their awareness and experience a “bird sit” exercise to practice those tips.

“The birds are the messengers of the forest,” shared Kevin. “Understanding their vocalizations is a great way to immerse in nature and experience the relationships and interconnections of the landscape. They can help you to learn where the fox, weasel, and cooper’s hawk are.”

While this workshop is free, registration is required and limited. Once registered, participants will receive the meet-up location near the Monadnock Food Co-op in Keene, NH.

Participants are welcome to bring their binoculars; however, no birding equipment is required to participate. For questions about the workshop, please contact KEVIN at [email protected].

Kevin Bose has been a nature mentor to adults and children for over a dozen years. He was mentored by Jon Young (author of What the Robin Knows) in a year-long nature connection program called Regenerative Design and Nature Awareness, which used the group Bird Sit as a core routine.

*Please note, if you are unable to attend please email [email protected] as this workshop will sell out.
