Healthy Diets and Sustainable Food Systems
January 8 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pmFree
In 2019 the EAT-Lancet Commission released its “Planetary Health Diet” Report that was met with accolades from agricultural scientists and nutritionists, but organizations such as the World Health Organization as well as some human nutrition experts raised concerns. What did this landmark study recommend for the health of our planet and the health of humans across the globe? In this class, we will look at the recommendations and objections so you can evaluate your own food choices in relation to the planet and your personal health.
Please note the event location: Roxbury Room of the Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship.
