Bakery Supervisor – Full time

Are you a passionate baker? Do you dream of the confections you will create?  Do you have professional bakery experience?  Are you a leader? If you have a drive for creating high quality, delicious and nutritious bakery items for the pleasure and convenience of our customers, we may have the right position for you!  Our co-op is currently looking for a Bakery Supervisor for our extremely busy customer service focused bakery.  We sold enough cookies in one quarter to reach the top of the Empire State Building!  In this position you will

Research and develop new recipes and menu items.  Oversee staff and maintain the bakery department’s operation.  Familiarity and knowledge of current trends in the natural foods industry including gluten-free products needed.  Margin and costing as well as supervisory experience are preferred but not essential if the fit is right. Schedule includes a variety of shifts

 

Deli & Beverage Clerk – Full or Part-time

Do you love smoothies?  How about coffee?  Are you a sandwich aficionado?  Are you an organic, local foodie?  Would you enjoy creating food with the freshest, highest quality local ingredients possible?  Do you believe in farm to table? Do you enjoy trying new foods?  If so, we may have just the right position for you!  Our co-op is currently looking for a Prepared Foods associate for our busy customer focused Deli and Beverage department.  In this position you will:

Provide superior service while preparing healthy food and beverage options for your customers. You must have superior customer service skills and ability to work independently with speed and accuracy.  Experience working in a deli or beverage department preferred.   Serve safe certification is a plus. Schedule includes varied shifts, primarily closing.  Weekend availability is required. 35-40 hours per week
