4th Annual Keene CANstruction

November 17 – 23, 2013: See sculptures made out of canned and boxed food
Part of Hunger Awareness Week
At Keene State College Student Center and Monadnock Food Co-op

It starts with one can. CANstruction®, a charity committed to ending hunger, is using ‘one can’ as a catalyst for change. Over 500 families in the Monadnock Region access hunger relief programs supported by The Community Kitchen Food Pantry.

Keene’s 4th Annual CANstruction® event puts a visual spotlight on hunger while showcasing the community’s best and brightest design talent. The main event is at the Keene State College Student Center with an additional sculpture at the Monadnock Food Co-op on Cypress St. in downtown Keene. All food raised is donated to The Community Kitchen.

Please take time to view the sculptures at the College and at the Food Co-op from November 17th to the 23rd.

Teams will Construct their sculptures on Sunday, November 17th and de-construct them on the 23rd of November.

All cans in sculptures will be used to fill this year’s holiday pantry boxes.
