At the Monadnock Food Co-op, we take reducing our waste seriously. Over the past few years, we increased our waste diversion from around 30% to 60%. In just the last year, we diverted 128 tons of waste from landfills (about the same weight as 27 African elephants!).
The Monadnock Food Co-op held a month-long Round It Up Donation Drive to benefit Monadnock Understands Childhood Hunger (MUCH) in September 2018. Co-op shoppers donated over $4,837 to MUCH.
