Oldways Whole Grains Council has designated March 28 as Whole Grain Sampling Day! Join us to learn about the nourishing grains grown in America as well as familiar and some not so well known grains from around the world. We’ll look at more recent discoveries that humans have actually been eating grains for over 100,000 years. Learn about all of the wonderful nutrients found in these beautiful plants as well as touch on the pros & cons of gluten-free diets. This workshop will be led by Nutritionist Cynthia Knipe.

Cynthia Knipe is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with more than ten years of experience supporting clients’ health and wellness goals using a whole foods approach. She works with individuals, worksites and community-based programs. She avidly follows emerging research on the gut microbiome and its role in human health.
