This year Earth Day is celebrating its 43rd anniversary and we want you to help demonstrate the steps Keene is taking to better the environment and build a stronger community. This year’s theme is “Healthy Community, Healthy Planet,” and we want the festival to embody that idea. We are inviting your organization to be a part of the 2014 Earth Day Festival because of the integral role you play in making this such a dynamic, healthy, and inclusive community.
Join us in celebrating what makes the Monadnock Region so unique. The 2014 Earth Day Festival will be held on April 26th from 11am to 4pm at the Railroad Land in Keene (next to the Monadnock Food Co-op).
If you would like to be a part of this exciting festival we ask that you pay a vendor fee of $35. We have a limited number of tables and tents that we could supply for an added fee, but it would be ideal if you are able to supply your own. If you will need access to an electrical source please let us know so that proper arrangements can be made.
You are invited to serve any food that you wish, however, we ask that you consider our theme of “Healthy Community, Healthy Planet” in determining what you plan to serve. In the spirit of Earth Day we are trying to make this a waste-free event. We request that all vendors use only compostable cutlery, plates, cups, and dishes. If you are unable to provide compostable items for yourself you may be able to purchase them through Antioch.
Please contact me for further information or with questions. We hope to see you at this year’s Monadnock Earth Day Festival!
